Founded in Spring 2021, Cougar Medics was created with the hope of providing and encouraging a community for emergency medical personnel at the University of Houston. Not only providing a community for members of a challenging field, but also encouraging and providing opportunities for those who hope to enter the field one day. Whether already certified EMS personnel or simply interested in the field, anyone at UH is welcome.

Additionally, we provide increased opportunities for our members to shadow doctors in local hospitals, or to ride along on a Houston Fire Department ambulance.
